Terms & Conditions

By using the CV-Transformer platform and related services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Updates to these Terms will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and have the authority to enter into a binding contract. By registering, you warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
3.1 You must provide accurate and complete information. Accounts using false, misleading, or third-party information may be suspended or terminated.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Unauthorized use may result in suspension of your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. CV-Transformer may require verification of account ownership.
4. Pricing and Subscriptions
4.1 Current pricing and plans are displayed on our website. All prices exclude VAT.
4.2 Pricing, plans, and features may change with at least 30 days’ notice via email.
4.3 Subscriptions are billed based on minimal agreed usage at the start of the billing cycle. Any overage is billed at the end of the cycle. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
5. Cancellation
5.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time via the platform or email.
5.2 Cancellation prevents renewal for the next billing cycle.
5.3 Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Unused portions of the cycle are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Upgrades and Downgrades
6.1 Upgrades or downgrades take effect immediately and may alter available features.
6.2 Users are responsible for backing up account data. CV-Transformer is not liable for any data loss caused by plan changes.
6.3 Fees will be prorated based on the new plan.
7. Trial Periods
7.1 Trials are offered at CV-Transformer’s discretion and may be withdrawn at any time. Default trial duration is 7 days, but it may be extended at our discretion.
7.2 Trial users are bound by these Terms. No charges will apply during the trial unless the user converts to a paid plan.
8. Technical Support
Support is provided via email and other channels at our discretion. We aim to respond to technical inquiries within 24 hours. Free or trial accounts may have limited support.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Harass, defame, threaten, or harm other users.
Post unlawful, obscene, offensive, or infringing content.
Transmit viruses, malware, or attempt unauthorized access.
Harvest or misuse data from the Service.
Misrepresent affiliation with CV-Transformer or third parties.
Violation may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination. Liability for breaches is limited to actual damages incurred by CV-Transformer.
10. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
10.1 You retain ownership of content you upload or create in the Service.
10.2 You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and you are responsible for any claims arising from it.
10.3 By using the Service, you grant CV-Transformer a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, copy, and display your content solely for providing and improving the Service.
10.4 CV-Transformer may remove infringing content upon notification from rights holders.
11. Liability
11.1 CV-Transformer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
11.2 Liability for direct damages is capped at the total fees paid in the prior 12 months.
11.3 Liability for death, personal injury due to negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify CV-Transformer and its affiliates against claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your violation of these Terms or use of the Service, including reasonable legal costs.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy governs processing of personal data. By using the Service, you consent to its terms.
14. Termination
CV-Transformer may suspend or terminate accounts and remove content for breaches of these Terms. Termination does not affect obligations or rights that survive termination.
15. Backups and Availability
15.1 The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. CV-Transformer does not guarantee uptime and is not liable for downtime caused by third parties.
15.2 Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups.
16. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Arbitration
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dutch courts, with arbitration as an available alternative. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Changes
CV-Transformer may update these Terms with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
18. Severability and Waiver
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms remain in effect. Failure to enforce rights under these Terms does not constitute a waiver.
